The M&S Lab is recruiting highly motivated postdoctoral scholars. The appointment is initially for one year but can be extended up to four years. The candidate is expected to be highly self-motivated, independent, and collaborative with a proven record of high-quality publications. Starting dates are negotiable. We ask those interested to send their curriculum vitae, representative publications and contact details of at least two references to jingyun.kim@gmail.com.
Positions are available in the following topics:
- Computational dynamics and vibration (with finite element and flexible multibody dynamics), FE model updating, System identification, etc
- Stochastic finite element method, uncertainty quantification, Deep learning based surrogate modeling for dynamics,
- Linear and nonlinear reduced-order modeling: Projection based ROM (eigenvector, Krylov basis, POD, etc),
- Multiphysics modeling: Fluid-structure , thermo-mechanical, electro-magnetic, etc
Graduate/undergraduate research positions are available at all levels. We will consider all disciplines from engineering to science:
e.g. Mechanical engineering, Civil engineering, Aerospace engineering, Electronics, Physics, Applied mathematics, etc,
